Top 5: Favourite Book Covers #1

I'm not ashamed to admit that I judge books by their covers. I will buy books despite disliking the cover however I'm more likely to buy a book sooner because I like the cover. Although in saying that I'm not too fussy. Typically covers I hate are covers like Mills & Boon. Those covers are so cheesy. Here are a few of my favourite book covers.

The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson
I assume there is a combination of photography and graphic design to obtain this beautiful cover. I feel like whoever created the cover entwined the photograph and the background so beautifully.

Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
When buying this series I looked all the other covers but this set of covers is by far the best. It has a wonderful simplicity that is absolutely gorgeous.

The Wrath and the Dawn Duology by Renee Ahdieh
The pages have deckled edges which adds to the overall beauty of this book. It's odd because the image underneath the pattern is the image on the paperbacks which I don't really like, but for some weird reason adding the window effect makes it more appealing. The red more than the blue.

Hunted by Megan Spooner
The metallic sparkle on this cover is so gorgeous. I love it. It's metallic without going overboard. It also looks like it would suit the story really well.

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (3rd Book)
This is art at its finest. They found an amazing artist for this. The shade of blue with that pop of pink is so captivating.
